Thank you so much for stopping by to see what Everett & Lee is all about! My name is Becki, owner of Everett & Lee, and I provide fun couples and families in Harford County, MD (and surrounding areas) a photography experience.
I am a fresh flower loving, pizza addicted, creative perfectionist with an obsession for all things organization.
If you asked my friends to describe me in a few words I think they would say I am a fun, good hearted, kind person with a creative soul. I believe in simplicity, authenticity, hard work, and that beyond all, love is love and beauty is not solely based on physical appearances. Life is too short and too unpredictable to live with a frown on your face and hate in your heart.
So what does all of this mean for my clients? It means I care about what YOU want and what you envision. It means our sessions will be relaxed, fun, and full of laughs! It also means I welcome everyone and encourage you to share your ideas no matter how simplistic or grand. At the end of the day, I want our product to be something you display proudly and your experience to be memorable.

I'm Becki
Born and raised in a small town in Carroll County Maryland, I always knew I wanted to do big things. What those "big things" are, I am still trying to figure out. What I did know is above all, I wanted to marry a loving man, have kids, and to do something I enjoy. So I picked my favorite subject in school "science" and decided give it a shot. I ended up earning a degree in chemistry from Stevenson University in 2010. I spent about 7 years in research and development laboratories working in a variety of fields from chemical defense to pharmaceuticals to water chemistry. I even developed tests that are still on the market! Seriously it was so cool. Every day was a challenge and thinking outside of the box is my forte but I was definitely missing something.
I missed meeting new people, being able to make them smile, and being artistic wasn’t necessarily needed to crunch numbers and create Excel workbooks. But, it was the path I chose so I powered through.
Photography has always been a passion of mine but the day my daughter was born it became so much more. She was a miracle, an IVF miracle! Photography was a way I could preserve and treasure those sweet moments that seemed to pass in the blink of an eye. I find myself constantly looking back at all those captured memories and reliving every emotion and feeling as if time had completely stopped.
That’s when I fell in love with the idea of starting a photography business! It is the best of both worlds. Learning the intricacies of the camera and planning shoots awarded me the opportunity to combine my love for science with my creative desires.
